We welcome comments but it has become a bit disorganised in time and hard to follow. They have been scattered around all over the place.

Here is a page where you can add your comments all in one place and not have to click and click everywhere or struggle down long lists.

This is where you can expose more scammers.  Your own words are acceptable but we will improve them if it is needed.

  1. FAKE PROFILE
I am sending you this message as I found out through a communication I had via Linkedin with the alleged cardiologist-cardiac surgeon David Johnson, that he is not the person he is presenting with, but a swindler. He uses photos on both his Facebook and Linkedin profiles which do not belong to him but to Dr. Eren Taştan.
He claims to be a heart surgeon who was born and educated in San Diego, California but now has a contract with Doctors Without Borders in Damascus. He is widowed with a one-year-old daughter. He wrote to me how a CT scanner broke down which needs to be replaced and based on his contract he has to cover 20% of its value. How he tried for a few days to put the bank transfer but it was impossible to connect and he asked me if I could do it, which I refused. He wanted to transfer $ 108,000 to the account of the French company which was responsible for the purchase and replacement of the CT scanner, according to him. When he saw that I did not consent to this he told me that he had to travel to the United Kingdom himself because the bank was there to do the transaction himself and that his travel expenses were $ 7,000 of which he had only $ 3,000 and he asked me to lend him the amount of 4,000, on the condition that he would return it to me when he went to the United Kingdom, which I again refused. After that I checked the internet to find out if his identity is fake and I found the information that I quote to you in order to do your own actions.

Let’s translate with Google first as well as some corrections.

Hi I started talking to a so-called orthopedic doctor André Reichen, an orphan since he was ten years old . He was raised in a boarding school as a widower with an 11-year-old son who is in college and André is supposedly living on a military base in Pakistan. He starts by saying that I I’m the angel that appears to you and he says magic words that intend to conquer anyone .
I don’t believe that at 53 I still fall for it. After many magical messages of love and affection from a lonely man and a lot of work at the military base came with the tale of the vicar started by saying that he was one of those chosen to go on a peace mission to Afghanistan and then he. says that as a senior doctor he can ask for a leave document but for that he has to pay €300. There is no way because they cannot access the account there. They lack nothing so for that reason they don’t need money. I said I couldn’t help so he asked me if it was me he wouldn’t let me go because he wouldn’t come back alive. I pity him, and I was stupid and I sent the €300 to an account in Palma de Mallorca. It went on and on MSN with a lot of magic that turns the head to any woman.
Then comes the blow that starts by saying that he received an email from a company that deals with his assets and that as they are reaching the end of the year they want him to receive valuable important documents that are in their possession as well as money. He says that on the basis this is not possible and so they advised him to use a trusted person. He wanted me to help him. I said I didn’t want this responsibility and then he says if I gave you my heart I also give you my assets until I get home before Christmas at home which was in Portugal in a location close to me, where I in at the time. I suspected and said that I didn’t go into it because it wasn’t drug mail and it wouldn’t help. He hit anything that wasn’t right. He was very upset he said that after giving his heart to me after 5 years without love if I finally knew what it was again happiness sent pictures with his graduation in Texas. I found out the photos were stolen from websites among other photos he sent me that would also be fake and I once again gave in and said then to send me the data that I would keep the package, that’s when he sent me the information and I sent Mail to the firm. To which they replied that he would have to pay €1300 to pick up the package. I sent a print of the company’s response to him and he replied with a big can we could pay 900 if not urgently I replied that there was no such amount he started to price for me to borrow because there was money in the envelope to pay the loan later.
That’s when I said there was no way to borrow, he told me that I could make a video call at the base as I had already asked to do and he said it was not possible but this time they authorized it, I took his data and put it on Google and this site of con artists came up and then I just blocked it, I write to warn that they are very perceptive people with an ability to turn anyone’s head to achieve the objective and disgrace families.
    DON’T believe in charlatans

  4. Hi, it’s my first visit here so I’m not sure how active this site is. Thanks for this, having the scammer’s photos all in one place and coming up on Google Image Search helped my confirm my suspicions.

The person on here listed as a romance scammer that goes by the names including ‘Frederick Jasper’ went by Michael Cedar on doit.org. It was a really odd string of messages saying they were ‘looking for an old friend and accidentally found (my) profile’, they were located in the US, they were ‘widowed’ and had a son who ‘keeps asking about his mother’. Immediately set off alarm bells as the site is a UK volunteering recruitment page used by both under and over 18s and is the farthest thing from a dating site. Plus, they couldn’t talk on the site itself and asked me to install Hangouts instead and enter his email. My pfp was blank and my account created a few days ago – am 17 but am pretty sure this isn’t publicly listed on my profile.

Romance scammer or otherwise, sort of took me off guard. Is it worth using the contact form to share his profile picture and messages or would it be a waste of time considering there’s so much documentation already?

    • I am unsure if you have more to add to it. Seems as if all your warning bells went off correctly too. That was “the get you off site safety and isolated” ploy by suggesting you use Hangouts.Just don’t do it.

  5. In my case I was contacted by a scammer through Facebook, from a fake profile with the name BRANDON PAUL, with stolen pictures of Jesse R. Phillips. He related he was a US Marine from Houston, who was in peace mission in Syria, and had 2 kids . Then he called and wrote through Hangouts with the e-mail USMILITARY9112001@GMAIL.COM and used the logo of US ARMY as his google profile picture. My curiosity lasted just over 24 hours and I blocked him.
I understood that his story and attitude were not logical or credible, but I wanted to thank you for confirming what I had already guessed, and thank you for helping many people. I hope you end these men who cheat women and discredit the army.

Don't worry. We don't bite.
